NEWARK, NJ — UPDATE: Newark police said Julian Polanco has been found and is unharmed. Our original article follows below. Newark authorities are asking for the public's help finding a missing 11-year-old boy, who was reported missing on Wednesday. According to the Newark Department of Public Safety, Julian Polanco of Newark was last seen around 10 p.m. on Tuesday on the 100-block of Parker Street. Polanco is a student at Dr. E. Alma Flagg Elementary School. He is 5 feet 9 inches and 98 pounds, and has brown eyes, brown hair and a light-brown skin complexion. He was wearing a black coat, light green basketball shorts, a purple shirt and black sneakers, police said. Authorities said anyone with information about Polanco's whereabouts can contact the Police Division's 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477).
