Description

Hola. This is pretty much the same ad from yesterday, but the responses for the drummer spot were huge and we probably have that covered now. Now all we need is keys, and good ones... please read on.... Hey Denver-area rock stars. We are an experienced & active cover band that has lost a couple of members to a number of different conflicts (surprisingly NOT Covid-related), and we are going crazy with wanting to get playing out again. We have clubs ready to pick us up once our lineup is restored, and we're hoping you're up for joining the family. We're not just your regular cover band. Sure, we'll do a top-ten number every once in a while, but our focus is radio hits from the 70s-90s that DON'T get played every single friggin' day on The Fox and 99.5 and what have you. So many more awesome tunes came out in those decades that classic rock stations just give no respect to anymore, and we've found that this approach to performing these kind of covers goes over like gangbusters with crowds and club owners alike. Folks love our shows, our songs, and our stage presence, and have paid well for it - we want to get back to work, and that's where you come in. What we're looking for is an experienced keyboardist with their own gear, a groovy attitude, and a decent amount of stage time & live shows under their belts. Personality- and stage-presence-wise, we are a fun-loving, goofy, and tongue-in-cheek bunch; but when it comes to the music we perform, we are razor-sharp, consummately professional, and never fail to leave the crowd saying "WOW." Attention to musical detail is a must, as is a readiness to rehearse thoroughly and be open to direction - being that we're professionals, though, after getting a solid set list down, we'll only hold rehearsal a couple of times a month to keep sharp (as hopefully we'll be gigging the rest of the time). Pay for shows is divided equally among all of us, and we don't take gigs that won't make it worth our while. The sooner we can get together and get an initial set list down, the sooner we can start playing out. One more thing...singing ability is also a must. We pride ourselves on the accuracy of our background vocals and harmonies, and for maximum WOW factor, everybody's gotta sing. If this sounds like your cup of tea, please reply to this post & you'll be replied to promptly. We'll send you a set list and chat about your expectations, and if the vibe is right, we'll get right to work. We hope to hear from you.
