AUSTIN, TX — Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton recently tested positive for COVID-19, the Office of the Attorney General confirmed to Patch on Wednesday. It is unclear when Paxton tested positive or if he is experiencing symptoms. He is currently working from home, a spokesperson from his office confirmed. Paxton, along with Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, has been a leading voice against local governments and schools requiring people to get vaccinated against COVID-19. Paxton's vaccination status is unknown.
