Commonwealth Care Alliance® (CCA), a national, multi-state healthcare organization with proven expertise in complex care coordination and delivery, today announced the appointment of Sesha Mudunuri as Chief Operating Officer. In this role, Mudunuri will lead and advance CCA’s core business and IT operations, including claims administration, member services, network contracting, provider relations, credentialing, and information technology. This growth is part of CCA’s multi-year, mission-aligned geographic diversification growth strategy to establish CCA as a national, multi-state healthcare organization. Most recently, Mudunuri served as the chief operating officer for Centene Corporation’s Magnolia Health Plan subsidiary, which served 300,000 Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and exchange members in Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama and Arkansas. He also previously served as executive director of operations at CalOptima, and has held leadership roles at New Directions Behavioral Health, Kaiser Permanente and Excellus BlueCross BlueShield. Mudunuri received a master’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Texas and holds a project management professional certification.
