Description
PROVIDENCE, RI — Gov. Dan McKee will address the Rhode Island public Tuesday in the annual State of the State address. This will be McKee's first since he took the helm as governor in March.
As is tradition, McKee will address the Rhode Island public from the House of Representatives chambers at the State House. The speech will begin at 7 p.m.
The governor's office said McKee's speech will focus on "kitchen table issues facing all Rhode Islanders and the chance we have to leverage the historic opportunity before us to build a stronger Rhode Island for all."
There are several ways for the Rhode Island public to watch the speech live. It will be broadcast on Rhode Island Capitol Television, which can be watched on Cox HD 1061, Cox 15 and 61, Full Channel 15, Verizon Fios 34 or online at rilegislature.gov. A livestream will also run from the governor's official Facebook page, as well as in Spanish on McKee's Spanish-language Facebook page.
