PASADENA, CA — A boy is in critical condition after being shot as a passenger in a car in Pasadena Tuesday night. Authorities did not immediately release the age or identity of the child, but CBS2 reported that the victim was a boy in his teens. The car was traveling in the area of Los Robles Avenue and Penn Street at about 3 p.m. when the shooting occurred. According to CBS, firefighters responding to an unrelated call were approached by a car with the gunshot victim inside, and the teenager was rushed to a hospital.in "extremely critical condition." A second shooting was reported in the area of Los Robles Avenue and Jackson Street soon after the boy was shot, though it was not immediately known if anyone was injured, according to police.
