Press release from the Wright County Government: January 18, 2022 At today's (Jan. 18) meeting of the Wright County Board of Commissioners, the board conducted one of its most important jobs of the year – making selections to the 17 committees and 41 advisory boards the commissioners sit on. The committee structure allows issues to be discussed at a comprehensive level before matters come to the full board – typically with a committee recommendation for action items. Advisory boards are outside agencies that have a common cause in partnering with the county – examples being the Great River Regional Library Board, the Planning Commission, Safe Communities of Wright County and MEADA.
