The St. Louis Park City Council has adopted an emergency ordinance requiring face coverings in St. Louis Park, regardless of vaccination status, to help curb the spread of COVID-19.
The ordinance will be in effect from Friday, Jan. 21, 2022, at 12:01 a.m. through 11:59 p.m. Feb. 22, 2022, unless repealed or extended by action of the city council.
The ordinance requires individuals to wear face coverings in restaurants and bars when not seated at a table, entertainment venues and common spaces in multifamily residential and multitenant office buildings. Businesses will be required to post signs at their businesses notifying customers that face coverings are required. Signs in English are below; signs in other languages will be available shortly.

Any concerns about business or individual compliance with the face covering requirement can be reported to the St. Louis Park Police Department non-emergency line at 952.924.2618. Calls will be referred to appropriate departments at the city to provide education and seek compliance with the city ordinance.
