I'M BACK FOR THE 29TH TIME! Join me in celebrating my golden birthday! There're two kind of people in this world: One |There's a pandemic. It's Tuesday. It's cold outside. Two| There’s a pandemic. I’m gonna go drink a 6-pack. I mean, hang out with my support group! Same thing, right? ----It’s not Tuesday. It’s the-super-long-week-during-the-time-of-year-where-I-have-no-idea-what-day-of-the-week-it-actually-is. The same endless week where I do absolutely nothing because no one’s working and no one cares. ---- Is it cold outside or am I just 98.6 degrees warm inside!? Drink to that! All kidding aside, this year marks not only the last year of my twenties, but my golden birthday. It is for this reason that I have rented out a heated cabana at my favorite brewery in the city – Pilot Project. We can have up to 16 people in the enclosure! Of course, we will have to break out into different groups b/c we cannot all be seated together for obvious reasons, but we can rotate who sits where throughout the night. Health and safety is a priority. The cabana is outdoors and open at the sides to allow for natural air. This means that cold air will get in. At the same time, the open side walls will be facing another cabana at one end and the brick wall of a building at the other, dampening the winds that make it through. To top it all off, the space will have an Electric Heater encouraging us to keep drinking. Beers, Buddies, Blankets, Battlestar Galactica! As you all know, I am more-than-slightly narcissistic, and my birthday means a lot to me. I hope you can all celebrate with me and Tinker Bell! The cabanas are dog friendly so if you have a pup, bring him/her along. We can all just about say that we have lived through 2020! Let’s cheers to that! As a wise man once said, “The problem with the world is that everyone is a few drinks behind.”
