PHOENIX, AZ — The car belonging to a missing Phoenix woman was found on Tuesday, according to Phoenix police, but the woman was still missing. Irene Luevano, 37, was last seen around 2 a.m. Sunday near the intersection of 27th Avenue and Camelback Road in Phoenix, police said. The gray 2007 four-door Chevy Impala that police thought Luevano might be driving was found Tuesday near the intersection of 107th Avenue and Lower Buckeye Road, according to police. Luevano told family that she'd been stabbed in the neck before she went missing early Sunday morning, according to Phoenix Police and a report from 12 News. The last person Luevano was known to be with on Sunday was her boyfriend, police said. Jorge Quintero Lara, Luevano's boyfriend, was booked into Maricopa County Jail on suspicion of fraud Monday, unrelated to her disappearance, 12 News reported. Police described Luevano as 5 feet 4 inches tall, 180 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. She was last seen wearing a black dress and black shoes. Phoenix police ask that anyone with information contact the department or call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS or 480-TESTIGO if they want to supply an anonymous tip.
