We have an immediate need for a full-time Window Covering Installation Specialist; to provide installations of our window covering products such as blinds, shutters, shades, custom-made drapery, and much more in our customers' homes. If you have experience installing other home goods such as TV cable, TVs, cabinets, ceiling lamps, or fans, or you have been called to be the handyman of the house, then you will love this job. We will train the right person for this position. The ideal candidate must have these personal qualities: Good verbal and written communication skills. Must have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Clean personal appearance Outstanding work ethic Use of hand tools and cordless drills, ladders, tape measures, etc. Able to figure things out on your own. Be ready to learn something new every day. Willing to go the extra mile to provide excellent customer service and quality workmanship. Most of our projects are indoors; however, on some occasions, we do work outdoors. Clean Driving Record. Pass a background check. Smartphone Some of the daily duties will be: Work hours are from 9:00 AM-5:00 PM with most days with some overtime. Updating the daily incoming inventory list. Prepare next day's project. Driving Company work van transporting and handling products safely to the customer's home. Installing window coverings using company-provided necessary tools and techniques. Inspecting installed products for any malfunctions and conducting final post-installation inspections for proper operation with the customer. Reporting back to the main office any issues that may come up or further actions to complete the project. Continual product training and keeping up-to-date with new products.
