Adorable, shweet, absolutely loveable cat looking for a fresh, new, quiet home. Cordyline, aka Cordy is a hefty, eight year old calico. She was live trapped as a tiny kitten in a feral cat population in Western Maryland. She has since lived her 8 years fat and happy and has come to love absolutely anyone that will show her affection. In fact, if you're not showing her enough love, she will often 'pet herself' to save you the trouble. Cordy has lived with numerous other 'foster' kittens and multiple family cats and dogs. Upon moving to NY, Cordy came to live with us with 3 other adult cats and 2 large dogs. We lived in a very open, separate, single family house. She was an inside/outside cat and loved it. We lived abutting Danby State Forest and had a large yard on a quiet road. After four years, our landlord sold the property and we had to move... taking along all of our animals with us. The new house is quite different than our last house. Someone lives above us, who often has kids visiting, creating a lot of booming noise directly above us. Cordy has had a very hard time dealing with this. We are in a very open outdoor space in Lansing, which is also a struggle for her. When she does choose to go outside, which she loves... she's less comfortable. Our yard is massive, yet completely open. Overall, she is very uncomfortable in her new surroundings. This has resulted in her acting out in numerous different ways. Cordy is desperate for a new, quiet home. She loves people, most other animals, and being able to go inside and out. She needs a quiet open space. Cordy is on a diet and is not free fed. She gets breakfast and dinner and few treats in between... along with a lot of love. I want to find Cordy the proper home.
