Tours Northwest, Seattle’s Premiere Tour Company, is hiring safe, professional and conscientious Tour Guides/Drivers.Imagine being a Tours NW Tour Guide, showing small groups of visitors (usually 15-20 people) the great sites, sights and highlights of Seattle and the Puget Sound region…and getting paid to do it! Tours NW conducts various daily tours around the Seattle region and to Mt Rainier National Park (May-October) in comfortable, well-maintained mini-buses. We are looking for energetic, passionate, curious, intelligent and creative individuals to train as tour guides/drivers for our upcoming Spring/Summer/Fall 2022 Season! Requirements: Clean Driving Record (no serious moving violations) At least 24 years old Have had a driver’s license for at least 5 years Able to pass a Drug Screen and Background Check Good physical condition (Able to frequently, quickly and easily get in and out of the bus, able to walk quickly and lift 35 lbs...occasionally.) Able to speak clearly and fluently in English Certified to work in the U.S. without restrictions for any employer at any time Covid-19 vaccinated (or in the process of getting vaccinated) Qualifications: Easy-going, flexible and patient; not easily agitated (or at least not showing it!) Reliable and responsible; able to work unsupervised, make decisions and manage continually-changing situations wisely and professionally Sense of humor; quick to smile, laugh and put others at ease Dependable and punctual; showing up-on time-when scheduled Good communication skills; promptly responding to texts, emails or phone calls Available to work a minimum of 3 days/week during May - September (our busiest period) Available to work some weekends during Summer and Fall Perks and Benefits: SIMPLE IRA 3% matching Flexible schedule Friendly, small, family-owned business Full and part-time jobs available Free tours for friends and family (subject to availability) Abundant cash tips! Compensation: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour (DOE) with additional tips (typically $50-$200 per tour) Tours NW guarantees a minimum $30/hour (including tips) during the peak season: May - Sept.
