We are looking for full-time, Sample Receiving & Bottle Room Technicians to join our team at our Huntersville, NC location. Three positions available. We are looking for candidates seeking a career with a well-established and growing company. Work Hours: Monday through Friday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm with a Saturday rotation. There is the possibility of additional hours at the end of the shift during times of increased workload. Mission Statement: Working together to protect our environment and improve our health. Schedule: Full-Time; Monday-Friday (1 position with a Saturday rotation) High probability of paid overtime Tasks for the day: Unloading and receiving client samples Triage – determine what type of environmental samples are received Unpacking coolers Organizing and labeling client samples Prepping samples for the labs Logging client sample information into Laboratory Information System. Using up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or move objects Attention to detail and teamwork are key! Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Some college science courses would be a plus. Where you work: Lab setting – subject to chemicals, fumes, gasses, noxious odors, and related items in a lab and samples setting Setting requires standing for extended periods of time
