Description
Tater Tot is an adorable 6 month old Netherland Dwarf / Holland Lop cross, both parents were pedigreed but he will not come with a pedigree. He weighs under 2lbs and has a very good temperament for a rabbit. He’s been around young kids and cats and doesn’t mind either. He’s not a big fan of dogs but most rabbits aren’t. He will let you cuddle him and will hop up to you once he’s warmed up which can take several days for a rabbit. Patience and not rushing them are keys to successful bonding. Rabbits also need at least one hour to free roam every day and his cage is not where he should live but rather his potty/hay/water/food area. You’ll need to provide a fenced in roaming area that’s at least 6x6 feet and 2.5-3’ tall. He is not destructive so he could very well fully free roam if you had no other free roaming pets. You should never leave a rabbit and other animals alone. Our only reason for rehoming is we have a rabbitry and sensing all the hormones from our other rabbits is driving him a little nuts. He’s never been bred and I’ll be ensuring he’s going to a strictly pet only home. He’s old enough to neuter and has no health issues. He will come his cage, litter box, any remaining litter box fluff, hay holder, transition food and his water and food bowls. He must be indoor only, no exceptions! Sticking him outside would make him sick as he’s grown up indoors. If you have another rabbit they will need to house separately as rabbits are territorial. His rehoming fee is $100 firm, serious inquiries only please.
