Iowa Staffing is seeking qualified candidates for an immediate Shipping and Receiving Supervisor position. The Supervisor will be responsible for planning, organizing and monitoring warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, scheduling loads, packaging, and supervising of warehouse employees. This position is for the 1st shift working Monday thru Friday. Pay is $50,000 to $60,000 a year. Below are the requirements: -3+ years’ experience of material handling supervision in a logistics, production, or warehouse role. -Recent Forklift experience required. -High School education or equivalent or combination of education and experience required. -Excellent organization, communication and follow-up skills needed. -Ability to learn software related to area of responsibility. -Ability to work under a moderate degree of stress associated with heavy workload and strict deadlines. -Knowledge of OSHA -Knowledge of DOT trucking rules. Overweight and oversized rules. -Ability to self-direct and take action to accommodate rapid changes in schedules -Position will require ability to walk, stand, reach, crouch, bend and kneel.
