Position Summary: The primary duty of a Floor Assistant is to directly assist the store manager and assist with store operations. Responsibilities and Duties: • Unloading trucks • Assembling and placing furniture on showroom floor • Loading furniture into customers vehicles • Overall upkeep and cleanliness of store including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning restrooms, emptying trash cans, painting Experience/Qualifications • Must be able to work weekends • Must be able to safely move items weighing 75 lbs and more • Excellent problem solving skills • Customer service skills • Ability to safely lift and move furniture in the store, including assisting with loading and unloading products from delivery trucks and into customer vehicles as necessary • Ability to work in a fast paced and busy environment
