We are looking for musicians to start a cover bar band. I am an intermediate to advanced guitar player and my buddy is an intermediate level drummer progressing quickly. We are in search of another guitar player and bass player. Examples of songs were currently playing: Semi Charmed Life My Own Worst Enemy Breakfast At Tiffany’s Mr Jones Closing Time Santeria When I Come Around Say It Ain’t So Your Love - Outfield 1979 7 Nation Army Basket Case Self Esteem Lydia - Highly Suspect Face Down Cut without the E My Name is Jonas Holiday Bullet With Butterfly Wings We are open to lots of songs and have diverse musical tastes from blues to metal and even covers of pop songs with a rock twist. Our goal is to do a mix of 90’s, 2000s, and some emo songs mixed in there. Bands like killers, taking back Sunday, Jimmy eat world, Green Day, paramore, Blink, Ataris, Hawthorne heights, etc just a good mix of popular songs from the last couple of decades. We usually practice at rocketspace on larimer. We both have good jobs and aren’t looking to get famous, but to gig semi often and are interested in writing some music too. The goal is to make friends and have a good time. We’re in our thirties. Again we’re not polished professionals but we’re definitely good enough to learn cover songs and get tight.
