8 month old black lab

We have an 8 month old black lab named Gauge. We are wanting to rehome gauge no fault of his I got him for my husband as hunting dog and with my husband's job and other responsibilities he just doesn't have time for him and gauge badly needs someone that can give him lots of time. We got gauge in Idaho both his parents are akc I have the info to akc gauge we just haven't done it yet. He is great with kids he loves our 9 month old she climbs on him amd he just lays there we also have older kids but he can be a bit rambunctious. Good with cats, good with other dogs he doesn't do well with chickens he likes to chase and try to kill them. He is current on his shots he is not neutered. We want to make sure he finds his forever home so if you don't have time for a puppy I wouldn't get gauge he needs a place with a big yard to run and play and get that lab energy run out of him and someone that can have time fore him. We are asking a rehomoming fee of 300 dollars to ensure he finds the best home. We are located outside of john day oregon
