We are looking for a responsible custodian to perform all duties to maintain general cleanliness, and safety in our showroom, restrooms, lunchroom, and offices. The external and internal cleanliness of a building reflects on the occupants. The ideal candidate will be experienced in a custodian role focused on building cleanliness and safety.. A keen eye for detail and diligence, and responsibility are imperative. Working hours are 4:00 pm. to 8:00 pm. Monday through Friday Responsibilities Ensure spaces are prepared for the next day by taking out trash, wiping, and disinfecting surfaces, Sweep and mop floors and vacuum carpets Wash and sanitize toilets, sinks and restock disposables (e.g. soap), maintain and reorder supplies, and properly dispose of used cleaning supplies, and chemicals. Wipe mirrors and windows (inside, and out) Report major damages to plant maintenance, Secure facilities after operating hours by locking doors, and setting up the alarm Skills Proven experience as custodian, janitor or in a similar role( 2 years experience minimum) Knowledge of use of industrial cleaning supplies, and SDS Hazard Communication information Knowledge of safe disposal of chemical liquids and other hazardous components Attention to detail and conscientiousness must be able to pass a background check. great attendance a must Job Type: Part-time Pay: $19.00 per hour
