Our Light Construction Equipment Dealership is currently accepting resumes to hire a non CDL Truck Driver / Forklift Operator / Tech Helper for Monday-Friday day shifts (hours may vary)! Dependable transportation to and from work is required!!! We are located near 40th Street and University in Phoenix, Arizona. Our dealership is a family-owned business, open for 35 years with an outstanding reputation all over the Valley for honesty and quality in the work we do. JOB DUTIES: • Explain proper operation and safety features of equipment to the renter and user • Analyze the condition of the equipment for safety and operational purposes • Clean equipment before it goes into the shop, after it comes back from rental, and while it is in the yard • Assist in loading and unloading of equipment • Keep the equipment yard organized • Perform general maintenance of the equipment • Perform other duties as requested • Uphold company safety standards and ensure appropriate procedures are followed • Pull, sort, pack and place equipment/items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to the company standards • Quality control/inspection checks to make sure items meet company standards • Preparing orders for shipment • Meeting production standards set by the supervisor • Operating carts, dollies, forklifts, pallet jacks and other moving equipment as needed in order to move products throughout the warehouse • Perform other duties as requested • Assist rental customers in a polite, friendly, and professional manner whether in person or on the phone • Ask customer questions to determine their rental needs and recommend proper equipment. Provide alternative suggestions if appropriate • Prepare rental forms and contracts by obtaining customer signature and other information as required • Resolve customer problems and answer questions • Cleans showroom floor and equipment. Arrange showroom displays. Keep shelves organized, stocked and clean EDUCATION, SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS: • A high school diploma or equivalent GED is preferred but not required • Must be able to lift/move approximately 50-70 lbs. • Attention to detail • Equipment rental industry experience is preferred • Customer service aptitude • Tow motor and pallet jack experience is a plus
