We are currently seeking to hire a Shop Technician I or II to join our team in 2022! You will be responsible for general shop/warehouse work here. We make tools for the motorsports industry, and this is a very exciting place to work if you have any interest at all in motorsports or metal and tools. This job starts NOW! Responsibilities: • Package tools, parts, and accessories to our standards for shipping • Assemble small parts with nuts/bolts/washers as directed Qualifications (REQUIRED): • Must be comfortable working on a team • Must be able to stay on task while on the clock • Must be able to lift 75 lbs • Must have experience doing WAREHOUSE or manufacturing work. Beneficial Experience (NOT REQUIRED, but will put you above other applicants): • Experience with metal working tools such as a drill press or band saw • Construction experience (framing/etc) • Electrical/Wiring experience, such as putting on crimp connectors, stripping wire, soldering wires together, reading simple wiring diagrams. • Hydraulics experience, such as bending hardlines, flaring hardlines, assembly, etc. Schedule: We are a M-F shop with no required overtime. We run 2 shifts, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM and also 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Compensation: This position is full time. Pay depends on experience and starts at $14.00 to $19.00 per hour. Pay is regular W2, and we offer and encourage direct deposit. We have company paid medical insurance (we cover 75%, full details available). We offer PAID flexible time off (FTO) which can be used for holidays, vacation, sick days, or cashed out as extra pay. We also pay all 6 major holidays. We have forklifts, TIG welders, power tools, lathe, milling machine, CNC equipment, many operator stations, and some automation in our building. It is an exciting and safe place to work. Forklift driver experience is not required.
