Bass player who can improvise needed

We are a drummer and guitarist in need of a bass player who can improvise, simple grooves, on the funky side. Think more 60s funk (james brown, booker T & MGs, the Meters, fearless flyers), and less on the 70s side. Big ask: can you host the jam? We are both coming from out of town. Friday night? Sunday?
