Service Technicians Needed TEMCO is a fast pace, growing service company specializing in providing quality repair & maintenance to the food service industry. Our highly skilled and trained technicians service, repair and install commercial, Refrigeration, HVAC and Commercial Kitchen Equipment. Job Overview Our company is looking for experienced Service Technician’s to be responsible for handling repairs and customer service. You will be handling face to face field communications, such as working with customers and vendors. You will also be responsible for managing your own files, updating paperwork, collecting payments, parts purchasing and performing other general service duties and responsibilities to include but not limited to; Responsibilities and Duties • Trouble shoot, diagnose and repair malfunctioning HVAC, Refrigeration & Commercial Kitchen Equipment. • Communicating with customers, vendors and manufactures on a daily basis. • Operating and being responsible for a company vehicle. • Documenting, communicating and emailing with an iPad and cellphone. • Following all safety procedures and company policies as instructed. Company Hours and Benefits • Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM. (Open 365 days 24/7) • Six paid Holidays. • Insurance benefits available: Major Medical, Dental, Vision and S/D+L/D. • Up to 5weeks vacation available (tenure based). • 401k Retirement Plan and Profit Share. Service Technician Requirements • Ability to pay attention to detail and follow instructions. • Must have trade basic tools. (TEMCO offers a tool purchase program and a required tool list). • Experience with Commercial Food Service Equipment, HVAC and/or Equipment, or related field helpful, but not required. • Experience in the food service industry helpful, but not required. • Warm personality, strong communications skills and the ability to multi-task. • Good time management and problem-solving skills. • Must be able to differentiate colors, symbols in fine print and wires. • Must possess and maintain a clean driving record. • Ability to work well and efficiently in a fast-pass environment. • Must be able to work overtime: after five p.m. and on weekends. • Must attend training schools locally and/or out of town, possible over the weekend to continue education. • Must be able to stand and/or sit for long periods if necessary, up to 4 hours. • Ability to read wiring diagrams and use a volt -ohm- meter helpful, but not required.
