Hello I'm looking to adopt a parrot, I've been looking for over a year and I haven't had any luck finding one that needs a home or any babies for adoption in my area. I'm 30 years old and I have plenty of free time and plan on making it a permanent family member and companion. I am located in Clovis New Mexico I don't mind traveling a little bit, I have experience with large birds and had help out at a macaw rescue and would like to adopt one of my own. the main reason why I don't go to the rescue is because they are completely wild a lot of times and aggressive and territorial and I'm looking for more of a companion that I can take on car rides and spend most of my time with and possibly even get registered as emotional service animal.
