Fiber Installation and Repair Technician – KY APPLY HERE -> Job Description: Our client has deployed a new fiber-optic network and we need a Fiber Installation and Repair technician to install new fiber services or migrate legacy DSL services to fiber for homes and businesses.  This work is anticipated to run through the end of 2022.   The new fiber network and backend systems will allow for a much easier install over legacy systems, allowing technicians to maximize earnings through a competitive unit-based structure.  We are looking for contractors who desire to work in KY for the foreseeable future beginning in February 2022.    Key Responsibilities: Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:   Communicate with local Manager Order and manage inventory materials Navigate information for facilities and materials needed Communicate with customers  Understand fiber specifications Safely install fiber from office to the customer prem Use Self Service Automation Tools Ensure records are correct Update used Inventory Submit forms (Buried drop, Cojack, Check List) Validate work at the end of each task   Required Skills and Competencies: Installation and Repair technician experience  Must have worked with fiber technologies for voice and data.
