Rehoming a 10 yo Miniature Dchnauzer

Description

Rehoming a 10 year old healthy 20 lb miniature schnauzer. She has had one owner during this ten year stretch, but due to extreme financial insecurity, her owner cannot keep her. She comes with a kennel, a leash, two kennel pads, a box of toys and clothes and her bag of food. She is updated on her shots, is microchipped, and I can get her vet to email you all of her medical history. She is a mix of havanese and schnauzer, and has unclipped ears and an undocked tail. Currently in Wilmington, but we can drive up to The research triangle if a video chat to meet her goes well. It’s traumatizing to a dog to see their previous owner again after such a late stage adoption, but I would like to find a family for her that could keep me updated on her progress for at least a few months after adoption with videos and photos. She has never been around small children in her lifetime, so I’m not sure how she would do in that environment. At ten, she is still full of energy and loves to go for walks and even short runs. The ideal rehoming situation would be a family with a yard with kids 12+ or starting out with no kids.
