High Sierra Patrol is currently recruiting for the position of Supervisor / FTO Corporal. Duties: In addition to the duties regularly performed by a Patrol Officer, and subject to the Direction of the Chief (Chairman/CEO/QM) the Patrol Corporal shall help our Sargent oversee the Field Operations / Patrol Division of the agency and its staff. Essential duties include (but are not limited to) responsibility for the following: Patrol operations; reports and report writing; application and enforcement of departmental policies and procedures; professional standards; performance evaluations; customer and staff relations; FTO / new hire field training & evaluation; radio/telephone communications in patrol operations use; Vehicle fleet repair and service. Requirements: · Posses or be capable of obtaining PILB registration card. · Clean DMV · Verifiable experience in security / law enforcement / corrections / military or related fields involving public contact and requiring independent decision making. · Minimum of one-year proven leadership capability and experience. · Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills. · Willingness to work any assigned shift. This may include day or nighttime operations. Shifts begin at the Carson City Administration Office where Officers are assigned a patrol vehicle to work additional locations. · Fundamental knowledge of vehicle operations and maintenance.
