Growing construction company looking to add an apprentice to its team. We are a design build firm specializing in custom homes and finish work. Looking for an individual who is motivated and is willing to learn. We are drug free company. Our clients want the best and we excel at achieving that. Pay is based on experience and job performance. Job Requirements: Three years experience, MUST be able to read a tape measure, has the ability to lift things heavier than 50lbs, ability to climb ladders and is comfortable on roofs and staging, knows the use of basic hand tools. All potential applicants or hires needs transportation, as we work in the North Shore area. Possess their own hand tools; tool belt, hammer TAPE Measure, drill/driver, etc. Additional requirements: Do not bring drama to the work environment. If you stay at your girls house for the night and know you have to be at work in the morning by 7am; you leave with enough time to get there by 7. Owning a vehicle but it does not drive is not considered transportation. It must have wheels on it and be powered to get you to work on time. If your buddy gets arrested taking you to work. Your late! Not my problem. I have customers to keep happy and a schedule to keep. Punctuality is a requirement. Google shows the Oxford dictionary defines it as...the characteristic of being able to complete a required task or fulfill an obligation before or at a designated time. The ad listing does not say Daycare openings available; I am looking for a Carpenter/Apprentice.
