A private 2hr walking tour for up to 17 guests through the scenic Georgetown neighborhood with a former CIA officer. Learn about the role Georgetown residents played in the pre- and post- WWII era as friend and foe alike to the Soviets. Learn more about the origins of the CIA, and the life of an operative shared through curated (and unclassified) real-life stories. Our Hosts: Rosanna served for 15 years in CIA's Directorate of Operations. She worked overseas in South Asia, Europe, and Latin America focusing on recruitment and hard target operations. She spent three years with the Department of Homeland Security and targeted threats at and between U.S. ports of entry. George is a former Senior National Security Officer with 30 years of experience with the Central Intelligence Agency, Department of State, and as a Military Intelligence Officer in the United States Army. He served multiple assignments in Central Europe, Eastern Europe, and South Asia leading intelligence collection operations. He also led the CIA’s advanced tradecraft school and worked in the CIA’s Counterintelligence Center. Val is retired CIA operations officer with assignments as Chief of Station (twice), Chief of Base, and Chief of Operations. He had eight field tours in the Middle East, Africa and warzones leading traditional recruitment, covert action and counterterrorism operations. Before that, he was a Special Agent for the US State Department Diplomatic Security Service (DSS). He is a Washington DC native and Georgetown resident. Rosanna served for 15 years in CIA’s Directorate of Operations. She worked overseas in South Asia, Europe, and Latin America focusing on recruitment and hard target operations. She spent three years with the Department of Homeland Security and targeted threats at and between U.S ports of entry. Now, Rosanna and her network of former colleagues deliver fun, interactive, spy-themed tours and events.
