Serve women from all backgrounds through educational workshops & retreats, in effort to build a strong supportive community. S.H.E Matters is a newly founded community; geared towards the healing and empowerment of all women through the use of community bonding and creative arts. Our mission is to serve women from all backgrounds and walks of life through educational workshops & retreats, in effort to build a community we all can depend on. Following through with our mission, we plan to connect the women that are part of S.H.E Matters to vital resources, encourage and support them in various ways through life changes, and ultimately change the narrative of “sisterhood”. A newly found society will sustain with a strong and supportive foundation- our community, and that is you. April 2022, we plan on holding our first S.H.E Matters retreat in Lynchburg, Virginia at non-profit facility Madison House of the Arts. During our three day retreat, women will have the opportunity to build relationships with diverse women, dig deeper into their creative brain, learn more about how physical health aligns with mental health, gain access to resources for success, as well as give back to the community through serving as volunteers at a community dinner giveaway.
