Description
Blue Angel Charity invites you to the International Women’s Day, “Women for Women” Annual Fundraiser Gala This year, in honor of the International Women’s Day, our “Women for Women” Fundraiser Gala will celebrate and benefit women affected by uterine cancer. The event will take place at ‘The Inn at New Hyde Park’, on Saturday, March 5th, 2022 from 6:30pm-11:00pm, with an opening cocktail ceremony, followed by a four course dinner with open bar. Most importantly, we’ll enjoy live music throughout the evening, as well as international mix-sounds by the incredible Dj Bex & Dj. Alban. Proceeds from ticket sales and a silent auction will benefit women affected by uterine cancer. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of these women. I would be so honored and grateful to see you there! Blue Angel Charity is 501(c) non-profit organization that remains committed to making a difference in the lives of those in need. Sincerely, Linda Treska, Co-Founder/ Blue Angel Charity In 2016, Blue Angel Charity partnered with Clean Water For Children to bring clean drinking water in a village in Kolkata/ West Bengal, India. We sponsored a water well which improved the lives of over 1,000 people, over 180 families and 150 students, who previously only had access to water so heavily polluted it often caught fire. In 2017, we partnered with Healing Waters Organization, a woman-founded NGO which builds holistic and filtered clean water solutions and empowers women not just to survive, but to thrive - physically, socially and spiritually. Blue Angel’s collaboration with the Healing Waters Organization provided access to the health & hygiene curriculum to women in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. In 2018 and 2019, Blue Angel Charity partnered with Ekenywa, another woman-powered NGO based out of Nairobi, Kenya to support a Rainwater harvesting system. Blue Angel Charity sponsorship also contributed in funds to build a permanent hand-washing station in two-primary schools of over 1,500 students (mainly young girls) in Nakuru, Kenya.
