This will be the 6th year of the camp, the main focus of the camp is to help high school basketball officials improve on all aspects. About the Camp This will be the 6th year of the camp, the main focus of the camp is to help high school basketball officials improve on all aspects of their officiating career for a low cost, with hands on training from a staff of very experienced officials. The camp will include but is not limited to, real time games, coach – official relationship, being a good partner, rules and other elements to make you an improved official. We also offer the best in overnight accommodations, along with a great meal and a night of entertainment. Lawrenceburg’s high school varsity basketball coach, Brad Cutter, will run a very competitive basketball camp with 16 high school varsity teams from 3 different states. What we will be doing We will have 9 crews working a total of 45 games to be played in 2 days on 3 courts. Officials while not working games , will be in class room sessions, court side watching games and listening to clinicians and learning. Friday night we’ll have dinner as a group, after dinner we’ll have good conversation or move into the casino for music, gambling or more discussion. Saturday will be a repeat with games and classroom activities. WHAT’S NEEDED Full officiating attire and gear (*Pants are preferred*) Be in good physical condition Good attitude and hustle Transportation to and from hotel & gym
