About me....classically trained pianist who disappointed his mother by falling in love with the drums. As a drummer, I have been in countless bands that had influences that drummers typically gravitate towards...Van Halen, Rush, Police, Blink182, Foo Fighters, etc. But I have a secret.....I really love Depeche Mode. Maybe because I love the '80s music. Maybe because I'm a wannabe producer and I love trying to replicate all the old synths and samples using ProTools. Maybe because I hung out w/ Martin Gore at LAX a million years ago. Who knows.... I'm finally ready to admit it publicly. I WANT TO FORM A DEPECHE MODE TRIBUTE BAND. More specifics.... Me= Christian Eigner (you know...the DM drummer that only shows up for live gigs) You= Dave Gahan? If so...wow. That voice is truly amazing, or You= Martin Gore? Aka one of the main instrumentalists/performers on guitar and keys, or You= Andy Fletcher? Aka The professional hand clapper ;-), or You= That other keyboard guy that goes on tour w/ DM and stands in the back but I cant remember his name Anyone out there interested? If so, let me know and which member of DM you feel most aligned. A bit more seriously.... Me= Pro equipment, PA system, practice space, drummer/keyboardist/producer who LOVEs to play/perform. In in another gigging band (not willing to scratch this DM itch), professional day job, family, and am willing to practice a few times per month. No vices, and no judgements. Willing to invest $s to make DM look/sound happen. You= Intermediate-expert keyboardist, easy going, professional, 30s-50s, pro equipment, looking to replicate DM sound w/ midi and samples, willing to come prepared to play.
