PROPERTY MAINTENANCE PORTER The Housing Trust of Rutland County, an affordable housing non-profit organization with over 300 units throughout Rutland County, seeks a well-rounded, dedicated, property maintenance porter for a full or part-time position. The qualified candidate is a motivated self-starter comfortable working alone while being an integral part of our Maintenance Team. S/he has a prior experience performing light maintenance, repairs, landscaping and cleaning tasks. Candidates should embrace HTRC’s affordable housing mission and be comfortable interacting with staff and residents daily. The maintenance porter must carry his or her own hand tools, be able to climb four flights of stairs, lift 80 lbs. and be willing and/or able to use a tablet and smartphone. S/he must also have a reliable truck or van with current state inspection/registration, auto insurance coverage and a valid driver’s license. Position requires participating in after hours and weekend emergency on-call pager rotations.
