Rockwood Retirement Communities is looking for an Assistant Landscaping Supervisor to join our amazing landscaping team. Job Shift Mon - Fri (7:00 am to 3:30 pm) * The hours may vary depending on the weather conditions. Note: Please be advised that per Gov. Responsibilities Responsible to supervise various landscaping projects around campus Assists in landscape revitalizing projects with some possible hardscape Spring & fall clean-up of common areas, responsible to remove leaves and underbrush from both residential and community areas Interact with residents to provide an open line of communication to meet their needs Snow removal and application office melt as winter conditions require Raking leaves, cleaning up debris, & other unwanted items from both residential and community lawns Establish beds to maintain a clean and uniform appearance Requirements HighSchool Diploma and & or GED Valid driver's license & current auto insurance Knowledge of residential & or commercial landscaping Managing one's own time and the time of others Experience with leading a team of 6 or more Physical Requirements This job requires the employee to be on their feet for a long period of time. They will constantly be walking and moving for long periods of time. Must be able to lift and or move up to 50 lbs.
