A Coalition of Over Ninety Chinese American Organizations in the Midwest Celebrating the Chinese New Year, Year of the Tiger The Chinese New Year Party of Greater Chicago has a long tradition in the Chicago area. It is one of the most significant cultural events for the Chinese American community. This event is co-sponsored by over ninety Chinese American community organizations, and UNITY is 501(C)3 not-for-profit. More than thousand people including Chinese American community leaders, celebrities, friends, and media will attend this event to celebrate the 4720th Chinese New Year of the Tiger.
