Before Jack Daniels, there was Uncle Nearest. We have the person to tell the story. Join us in learning how a remarkable friendship created one of the most revered whiskies in the world. This event, the storyteller is none other than 5th generation Green descendant and the award-winning Uncle Nearest Master Blender herself, Ms. Victoria Eady Butler. Tennessee is coming to Savannah! On Saturday, February 26th from 6:00 - 8:30 pm, join us and Ms. Butler for a bottle signing, live interview, and Q&A during her first visit to the Hostess City. Guests will enjoy an Uncle Nearest tasting and custom cocktails, thoughtfully paired hors d’oeuvres, vendors (Rhoot Man Co., Tacarón Cigars, and new B&B merch!), live music from Ray Lundy & Kyle Yardley, and a riveting conversation between Ms. Butler and interviewer Deane Desper about all things whiskey and legacy. AND -- one lucky guest will win a priceless basket of Uncle Nearest goodies. Only VIP ticket holders will have a private meet & greet with Ms. Butler, which includes a signed bottle of Uncle Nearest1884 Small Batch Whiskey and a photo opportunity. VIPs will also enjoy Thompson Hotel valet parking and receive a special Uncle Nearest t-shirt. We're proud to share that 10% of all ticket sales will go to support Tusk Arts Center, a non-profit founded by local Savannah filmmaker, Caroline Josey Karoki. The Center empowers communities through the Arts, providing arts skills to disadvantaged youth and producing nonfictional films that allow underserved populations to share and highlight their own communities.
