Callee Ackland, a professional soap-maker, will teach us the history of soap making, the different types of soap, how the saponification process works, and soap-making safety tips. Callee will demonstrate how to make soap using the “hot process” method, and each attendee gets to choose & take home a bar of soap from Callee’s soap company. Tickets are $20 In 2017, at age 23, Callee Ackland started her first company, Bestowed Essentials - an award-winning small business that manufactures eco-friendly home & body products and provides jobs for people who face barriers to employment. Their warehouse in Rapid City makes over a thousands pounds of soap each month, and their products are available in over 200 stores around the US & Canada.
