Applied for SC, NC, GA, and ISA Credits Agenda 9:30-9:40 Intro/housekeeping 9:40-10:00 General tree health (general tree care, impact of living in urban environment) 10:00-10:30 Invasive insects (emerald ash borer, hemlock woolly adelgid, Asian longhorned beetle, spotted lanternfly, black twig borer) 10:30-11:00 Native insects (bark beetles, ambrosia beetles) 11:00-11:10 break 11:10-11:50 Native insects continued (defoliators) and fungi (root and but rots, cankers, foliar diseases) 11:50-12:00 Evaluations and wrap-up For each topic we’ll cover identification and management, including chemical and non-chemical tactics. Focus will be on SC but information will be relevant to neighboring states.
