Love Carpet is a locally owned, combined service company operating since 1999. We specialize in carpet cleaning & repairs, tile & vinyl cleaning, water remediation, air-duct & dryer vent cleaning. We are looking to hire someone that LOVES making customers happy and wants to be part of a team who is more like family. Everyone on our team has been with the company for 5+ years, we are looking for long term. Currently, we are expanding and offering an opportunity for a hardworking, self-motivated individual looking for a stable and consistent work environment. We operate Monday- Friday from 8am until our schedule is complete. Technicians are required to be on call in 1-week increments that go by a rotation. When on call you are responsible for our Saturday work as well as all water damage jobs that come in 24/7 that week. Carpet cleaning technicians earn an average of $35,000-$55,000 per year, and our top carpet cleaning technicians make $60,000+ per year! Starting commission is dependent on experience. Please note*** we do not train. Sub-contractors are required to have previous experience in the industry. Please note** Air duct & dryer vent cleaning experience not mandatory but is a plus All equipment is provided. Van & equipment maintenance taken care of. Tools are not provided but loaners may be available to help get you started. Qualifications and Skills required -Be able to clean commercial & residential carpets with truck mount machinery. -Be able to clean tile + vinyl -Be able to properly remove stains, treat urine, operate a floor scrubber. -Be able to repair carpet (stretch, patch, seam carpet) -Be able to repair/replace tack strip, z bar, metal strip, reducer etc. -Be able to properly deal with emergency water damage dry-outs. -Be able to write estimates Most of these skills are mandatory as our customers expect full carpet restoration. We have many customers in the multi housing industry with a constant need for vacant cleans and emergency water extractions. Requirements: -Valid Driver’s License and a good driving record -Ability to lift 50 pounds - Previous experience is a must -Ability to read and understand English -Have dependable transportation Please email a resume for consideration.
