Taste the cider that's ending food waste! Come and celebrate the release of Green Bench Brewing Co.'s newest cider on tap! With live music and a delicious brunch catered by 360 Eats. 100% of the proceeds support 360 Eats, a local nonprofit, whose programs are working to end hunger and food waste. Brunch tickets are a suggested donation of $20 or pay-what-you-can. Featuring:• Brand new limited-time-only zero-waste cider on tap! This unique cider is made from good surplus fruits that 360 Eats and its volunteers "rescued" from going to waste. 40% of food produced in the US goes to waste each year, with a lot of it being thrown out for ridiculous reasons, such as minor damage to packaging, "odd" shaped produce, and confusion over sell-by, best-by, and use-by dates. Instead of that food going to waste, 360 Eats partners with local food establishments, such as grocery stores, to reimagine their excess food into nutritious meals (and now cider!) for the community to enjoy! • Live music from the crowd-favorite local funk band Speak Easy • A full zero-waste brunch catered by 360 Eats *Ticket includes brunch only.
