On paper she is a nurse midwife, teaches entrepreneurship at the University of Arkansas, holds a doctorate in Public Health, and is a licensed helicopter pilot. Cara founded Blaize & Brooks in 2020, and is proud to be a woman-owned bourbon whiskey brand. Blaize & Brooks and The Nest are excited to partner in hosting a signature bourbon tasting event featuring the company’s small batch called “Homesick”, a bourbon that plays into the nostalgia of bringing a piece of “home” to you, complemented with notes of citrus and vanilla finishes.
