Description
An apostrophe in "dad's" is appropriate:
- as a contraction for "dad is". For example "Dad's coming to pick me up".
- as a possessive, to show ownership. For example, "This is my Dad's car".
You do NOT put an apostrophe to pluralize. For example, "all dads love their children".
By all means, home school; clearly, you've got what it takes. But please warn the neighbors when you're teaching chemistry.
