Looking to rehome my 7 yr old shepherd mix. I hate that it's come to this but after starting a new job that involves regular travel I can no longer provide him the care he needs. Tug is an extremely sweet and loving dog. He wants nothing more than to be by your side and get pets. He loves walks but is generally a pretty low-energy dog throughout the day. He does need a firm hand and ideally his new home will be with someone who has some experience working with reactive dogs. He has issues with resource guarding (over food and toys) and can growl/snarl when he feels threatened so he would best suited for a home with no other dogs and no kids. He could make an excellent guard dog for someone living alone as he can also be protective of the people he bonds with. Please reach out if you have any questions about Tug.
