BROOKLINE, MA — A pedestrian was hit in Brookline Tuesday afternoon, resulting in the temporary closure of Route 9 outbound, according to the Brookline Police Department. The incident took place around 1 p.m. between Washington and Cypress Streets, said police. Residents were asked to avoid the area until 1: 15 p.m. No further information has been released.
