Press release from the Historical Society of Western Virginia:
January 17, 2022
A snowstorm in March 1956 delayed O. Winston Link's eighth trip to Roanoke. In Hagerstown, Maryland, on the way to Virginia, Link found Pennsylvania Railroad locomotive 6330, which had just brought PRR Train No. 61, a local, from Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to Hagerstown. A steam locomotive was always worth photographing, and this was among the Pennsylvania's last ones.
