Job description We are currently seeking a self-motivated, skilled, reliable full time Van Conversion Specialist for our Sheridan, CO location. About the Company Paradigm Van Conversions was founded in December 2019 and is quickly gaining the attention of campervan enthusiasts due to its versatile, innovative designs and affordable price point. Paradigm was built to serve the "average joe's" that want a van to fuel their weekend adventures or road trips with the grand kids but are not prepared to drop six figures on a custom build. We offer high quality conversions with versatile layouts that don’t break the bank. We are able to extend affordable pricing to our customers because of our standardized package offerings. 90% of the components used in the conversion are pre-manufactured in our shop to maintain a complete inventory of parts that are ready to install. About the role We are currently looking for a Production/Conversion Specialist to join our team. This is an opportunity to get in on the ground level of a growing company with great advancement potential and flexible working arrangements. Applicant must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar field or general construction. Position includes fabrication, construction, and installation. A broad mechanical and electrical knowledge, an acute attention to detail, and positive attitude required. Expectations Able to work a 4 day work week (4 - 10hr days, Monday through Thursday). Be a "self-starter" who takes initiative. Must be a detail-oriented person. Keen awareness of fit and finish for quality detailed artisanship Maintain a safe, clean, and tidy workspace; Paradigm takes pride in our company image. Project a friendly, kind, and positive attitude; No one likes to work with unpleasant people. Must be able to follow directions, work as a team, or as an individual. Able to work in a noisy environment Able to stand or kneel. Able to lift and carry heavy items over 75 lbs. Able to Meet schedule deadlines and follow work plans Be able to pass a drug test Knowledge Requirements General construction practices General fabrication and assembly practices General woodworking practices Safely operate a table saw, circular saw, jigsaw, router, cutoff wheel, chop saw, pneumatic air nailer, and other general shop tools. Clear understanding of 12v and 110v electrical systems A basic understanding of computers General automotive assembly and repair methods Metal fabrication knowledge recommended Basic Description of Typical Duties Cutting and installing windows and roof vent fans Assembling and modify cabinets Upholstering wall and door paneling Wiring 12v lighting and electronics systems Installing solar panels and auxiliary battery systems Installing aftermarket bumpers, racks and hitches Plumbing fresh and grey water systems Assembling aluminum extrusions Installing sheet vinyl flooring Maintaining records and documentation Clean, prep, and test overall system for final delivery Interfacing with customers Occasional material pickup Receive shipments of materials to the shop Additional shop duties as directed $18 - $25/hr - Wage to be determined by experience and knowledge of candidate.
