Ryder Material Handler FULL-TIME $20/hr 19900 E 23rd Ave, Bldg 3, Unit C East park 70, Aurora, CO 80011 About Ryder Last Mile: Ryder Last Mile, part of the Ryder Corporation, is a final mile delivery service of big and bulky items such as furniture, appliances, exercise equipment, and electronics. Duties Include: - Pulling orders accurately as assigned - Staging orders according to carrier location and verify: number of pallets picked as well as stage location - Preparing receiving, storage and shipping documentation retaining product accountability - Communicating with fellow employees for safe transport of goods throughout the warehouse - Maintaining an expected work pace and meet minimum productivity guidelines - Inspecting shipments for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and notifies supervisor and/or purchasing personnel - Following established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards. - Reading and understanding assembly instructions to assist in assembling of various furniture - Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned Schedule - Shift start: 8:00AM - Shift length: 9 hours Benefits - Health, dental, vision insurance available after 30 days - Paid time off - 401k Requirements - Requirements - - Ability to operate Powered Industrial Equipment(s) (Cherry picker, Forklift, etc) - - Ability to operate dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift - - Good written and verbal communication skills - - Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules - - Ability to identify and locate a product that requires reading and counting - - Ability to read, understand, and follow directions/instructions - - Ability to work with minimum supervision - - Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs - - - - About Ryder Last Mile: - Ryder Last Mile, part of the Ryder Corporation, is a final mile delivery service of big and bulky items such as furniture, appliances, exercise equipment, and electronics.
