ABINGDON, MD — A Forest Hill man is hospitalized Tuesday after being stabbed in Abingdon on Monday, according to authorities. Investigators believe the 32-year-old was stabbed in a parking lot in the 400 block of Constant Friendship Boulevard. Afterward the assailant ran from the area, according to detectives. A man the victim knew dropped him off at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center, where deputies said they were called around 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The victim did not provide a specific location for the assault before he was taken into surgery for treatment of what authorities said was a serious stab wound. He is in fair condition, the Harford County Sheriff's Office reported Tuesday afternoon. The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information about the stabbing is asked to call the Harford County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigations Division at 410-836-5442.
